A kitten has recently become part of your life and you, who care about its well-being, you may be wonderingwhether or not it is appropriate to sterilize it.

Surely, in case it was a kitten, washing a litter early is a possibility that you need to carefully consider. But, even if the newcomer is a kitten, there are very good reasons why you should consider neutering him.

Yes why, what not everyone knows is that spaying can not only improve your cat's quality of life, it could even save his life.

Here are the 5 reasons which make us say that sterilization is an act of love, not only towards your cat, but towards all cats::

  • You will protect him from dangerous diseases, such as tumors and infections of the genital system. Furthermore, neutered cats are much less likely to contract infectious diseases which are often the consequence of sexual relations or quarrels between males in love.

  • You will avoid itprisoner syndrome:if your dog lived with you in the apartment with no possibility of going out, it would be a great pain for him not to be able to roam freely when the mating instinct awakens..

  • You will protect him from the dangers of escaping love: in the event that your cat was free to go out, escapes would be anything but remote, unfortunately, however, these wanderings often bring with them violent quarrels and the risk of accidents.nti.
  • You will avoid - for you and for him - the hassles of love sickness:e”: castrating your cat he will not feel the need to mark the territory with urine by peeing in the house, moreover you will spare your ears the powerful meows typical of cats in heat..
  • You will do your part in fighting stray animals: keep in mind that each cat could procreate up to 20 kittens a year: if your kitten were a boy it could have babies with a less fortunate cat living on the street, a fate that will probably also await the kittens. Whereas if it were your kitten giving birth and you found a loving family for each one, this would deprive as many kittens of shelters of the possibility of finding a home.

However, there are also those who fear that sterilization can also have a negative impact on the life of their furry friend. So let's see together what are the 4 most common doubts against sterilization:

  • Neutering changes the character of the cat.Fear not, the character of your beloved tiger cub will remain the same even after sterilization. Surely after the surgery it will take a few days to recover, but it will soon be the same again..
  • Obesity: if it is true that after neutering cats tend to gain weight, it will be enough to be a little more attentive to their diet and guarantee an extra dose of play, perhaps providing the cat games that keep him active even when he is alone at home: he will be more beautiful and in shape than ever.

  • Have your cat have at least one litter: you might think it is a good experience for her and for us, but keep in mind that sexual intercourse is not pleasant for felines, nor is there evidence that cats benefit from pregnancy..
  • IS against nature: it will not be unfair to deprive cats of something as natural as mating Well, it would not be equally so to leave it exposed to the dangers it will encounter or to let many puppies suffer abandonment and strayingmo?
